Mikumi is Tanzania’s fourth-largest national park, and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam. With almost guaranteed year-round wildlife sightings, it makes an ideal safari destination for those without much time. Within its 3230 sq. km, it hosts buffaloes, wildebeests, giraffes, elephants, lions, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and more, and chances are high that you’ll see a respectable sampling of these within a short time of entering the park.

ITINERARIES;

Day 1. DAR ES SALAAM TO MIKUMI NP

Pick up from Airport or from your accommodation in Dar es salaam morning after breakfast and drive for 4 to 5 hrs. which range approximately 300 km Mikumi National Park. Lunch on the way in Morogoro town. When arriving in Mikumi you will enjoy evening Masai Boma Tour and traditional dance. Dinner and overnight at Mikumi Bandas

Day 2. GAME EN ROUTE TO DAR ES SALAAM

On this day you will have your breakfast and then start a game en route to Dar es salaam. Mikumi’s vegetation includes woodland, swamp, and grassland with two water holes; Mkata and Chamgore. Apart from the saddle-bill stork, hammer kop, and malachite kingfisher you will also find monitor lizard and a deadly python inhabiting the pools. Upon arrival in Dar es salaam our representatives will drop to your accommodation or airport according to your requirements
