Day 1. Dar es Salaam to Selous Game Reserve

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and begin your journey to Selous Game Reserve. You will enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. The journey will take you through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat safari where you will be able to view hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat. Later in the evening you will check-in at the Selous Ngalawa Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 2. Full game drive at Selous Game Reserve

After breakfast you will head out on a full-day game drive in the reserve. Selous is home to large populations of elephant, hundreds of buffalo, and packs of wild dog. Other wildlife commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudus, and crocodile. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the drive. Later in the evening you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3. Walking Safari and depart to Dar es salaam

After breakfast you will take part in a walking safaris, the most exciting and unique experience in Tanzania. You will be accompanied on this walk by armed rangers for about two hours. At the end of the walking safari you will return to camp, check-out and drive back to Dar es Salaam. Upon arrival you will be dropped off at your designated spot. This is where your safari will end.
