DAY 1. DAR ES SALAAM TO SELOUS GAME RESERVE
In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel in Dar es Salaam and begin your journey to Selous Game Reserve. You will enjoy a picnic lunch along the way. The journey will take you through the most unexplored and untouched areas in Tanzania. Upon arrival in the afternoon, you will embark on a boat safari where you will be able to view hippo and crocodile in their natural habitat. Later in the evening you will check-in at African Safari Camp for dinner and your overnight stay.

DAY 2. FULL GAME DRIVE IN SELOUS GAME RESERVE
After breakfast you will head out on a full-day game drive in the reserve. Selous is home to large populations of elephant, hundreds of buffalo, and packs of wild dog. Other wildlife commonly seen are lion, bushbuck, impala, giraffe, eland, baboon, zebra, kudus, and crocodile. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed along the drive. Later in the evening you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
DAY 3. WALKING SAFARI & VILLAGE TOUR IN SELOUS
Today you will wake up early in the morning around 6:00 am and have a cup of coffee (option) then you will start a walking safari. The walks are guided and normally accompanied by an armed ranger. A walking safari is an excellent break from game drives, where visitors will learn some fascinating facts about nature, birds, reptiles, insects and medicinal uses of local plants, which you may not fully appreciate from the seat of your safari car. While the scents and sounds of the African bush are better sensed on foot, it is without doubt an adventure and a thrilling experience especially when the walk extends into wildlife habitats where encounters with freely roaming animals are the norm like in the Selous. At 8:00 you will go back to your accommodation for full breakfast then followed by village tour around 9:30 am. During village tour you will be able to enjoy Local tradition dance, learn different ways of prepare local food from inhabitants etc.
DAY 4. DEPART TO DAR ES SALAAM
Today is the last day of your package and therefore after breakfast you will start your journey back to Dar es salaam to finalize your safari itinerary. Upon arriving our representatives will drop to your accommodation in Dar es salaam.
