AJ Trips invites you to join a 4-day safari in Tanzania. This safari will take you to the Tanzania’s best locations such as Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Crater which is known also as the Garden of Eden, and Serengeti National Park. Get a chance to see the “Big Five” and other animals such as impalas, zebras, buffaloes, etc. You will feel being one with nature as you will spend your nights in various great campsites.
Day 1. ARUSHA TO TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast at the Hotel you leave early to the Tarangire National park. This is the third largest park in Tanzania and it is characterized by the amazingly large herds of elephants that can be encountered in this park. The Baobab trees are one of the other highlights of Tarangire and the Tarangire River that flows all year round is the life blood of the park. Many animals; predators and the preys alike gather around the river where you can do excellent game viewing. Dinner and overnight will be at Tarangire public campsite.
DAY 2. TARANGIRE TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast, you’re off to the famous Serengeti National Park, home of the Great Migration. Your drive today is spectacular as you drive up the crater highlands, stopping at the rim for a birds-eye view of the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. Continuing on as you crest the hillside, spread out before you as far as the eyes can see, is the vast Serengeti. Serengeti means “endless plains” in the Maasai language. Large predators including lion, cheetah, and hyena are drawn to the area by this abundance of prey which migrate throughout the park. Dinner and overnight will be at Seronera Campsite.
DAY 3. SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO CRATER
Today you will wake up very early to do an early morning game drive before breakfast to spot the animals when they are more active and to have a fantastic sunrise in front of you. The sunrise in the African Savannah is one of the most beautiful experiences you will ever have. After the game drive, return to the camp for brunch. In the afternoon, transfer to Ngorongoro, the 8th natural wonder of the world. The crater is a virtual Noah’s Ark, inhabited by almost every species of wildlife indigenous to East Africa including the rare black rhino. The large bull elephants that reside here have extremely large tusks, due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. They are the most incredible elephants you’ll ever see in your life. Overnight is at Simba campsite.
DAY 4. NGORONGORO CRATER TO ARUSHA
Today, you will have early breakfast and proceed directly to the crater floor for a 5-6hrs crater tour with picnic lunch down the crater whereby you will be able to see all the “Big Five”. Later, you will proceed back to Arusha in the evening.
