Itineraries
Day 1
Arusha to Serengeti National Park
You will either have breakfast or take a breakfast box with you as your driver/guide will take you on your journey to the Serengeti National Park. You will stop for a picnic lunch on a Kopje (rock outcropping) at the Naabi gate where you will continue on an exciting game drive. You will arrive at Seronera Public Campsite, set up your tent and watch the cook prepare a delicious dinner for you. After dinner you will turn in for the night.
Day 2
Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
You will get an early start on an early morning game drive to see nocturnal predators returning from hunting and animals waking up in early morning light. You can take breakfast boxes with you and have a bush breakfast. You visit the interesting documentation center about Serengeti at Seronera and then proceed on a game drive back to the camp for lunch. You will then pick up your camping equipment and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for your dinner and overnight stay at Simba Public campsite.
Day 3
Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha
After an early breakfast you will explore a once in a lifetime game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the amazing “wonders of the world”. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its high walls, you can expect to see lion, elephant, zebra, hippo, flamingo, jackal, rhino, antelope, many birds and other species. With a bit of luck the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted on your game drive. After lunch you will ascend the crater floor and head back to your camp where you will collect your equipment and then drive back to Arusha. You will arrive late in the evening and be dropped off at your designated spot. This is where your safari will end.
