Itineraries
Day 1
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Morning after breakfast around 8:30 am our driver will pick you up at your accommodation in Arusha and drive you to Tarangire National Park. Upon your arrival you will enjoy a game drive in the Tarangire National Park. Lunch and dinner will be served at Whistling Thorn Tented Camp.
Day 2
Tarangire to Serengeti National Park
You will start your safari at 7 a.m. and heading to Serengeti National Park to kick off day two of your safari. You will pass by a traditional Maasai Boma along the way to experience the ways of life of the Maasai people. You will enter the Serengeti around noon and spend the rest of your afternoon exploring its world renowned endless plains in search of one of the greatest wildlife spectacles in the world, the great annual migration.
After your game drive, you will be taken to your tented camp or lodge, where you will be spending the night. The meals provided for this day are breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Day 3
The Great Migration in Serengeti National Park
In this day, you will explore Serengeti National Park. The tour guides will take you to see huge herds of wildebeest and zebra move in a clockwise direction around the vast plains, searching for fresh grazing grounds. Witnessing the migration in the Serengeti is really as good as it gets in terms of your Tanzania Safari.
Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater
Today, you will have an early start as you head to the Ngorongoro Crater to explore the last but not least amazing park of your tour. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the few areas in Tanzania where you can find such a breathtaking blend of scenery and wildlife coupled with a fascinating historical and cultural element. The crater is not only the largest unbroken caldera in the world but it is also one of the new seven natural wonders of Africa.
After your morning game drive, you will take a break to enjoy your packed lunch at the hippo pool picnic site then continue with your afternoon game drive. Early evening, you will be transferred back to your tented camp or lodge, where you will be spending the night.
Day 5
Lake Mnyara National Park to Arusha
You will depart the camp at around 6 a.m. and head to Lake Manyara National Park for your last game drive, After your amazing tour, you will be transferred back to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport in the afternoon via curio shops, where you can grab some souvenirs to take back home with you.
